El visitante regular de un parque de diversiones rara vez se da cuenta de lo que tiene que suceder para que pueda abordar un juego mecánico... Con mayor razón es impresionante el movimiento de personal a tan temprana hora para poder dar las facilidades a la gente de los medios y organizaciones que vienen a conocer la nueva atracción. Un hormiguero humano donde hay que subir y bajar gente, coordinar entrevistas y procurar que todo fluya de manera ordenada durante el evento antes de que el parque abra sus puertas.
Regular visitors to an amusement park are rarely aware of all the things that need to happen so they can board and enjoy a ride ... That is why it is remarkable the number of people working at such an early hour to give their attention to the media people and organizations who are there to experience the new attraction. It is like a human anthill where people go up and down, interviews are scheduled and the park personnel have to ensure that everything flows in an orderly manner with the special event before the park opens.
Entonces, ¿Es una buena atracción el Lex Luthor Drop of Doom?
Sí, y bastante como para considerarlo el mejor de California. Como dato adicional, la oportunidad de subir al Drop of Doom antes del amanecer nos permitió a los presentes pasar por encima de la neblina, teniendo de paisaje solamente nubes y montañas. "Priceless", dijeran por ahí, claro que solo fueron 10 a 15 segundos de admiración para después caer libremente hechos la... ustedes saben mejor que yo.
So, is Lex Luthor: Drop of Doom a good ride?
Yes, and then some, maybe enough to consider it the best in California. As an additional fact, the opportunity to ride Lex Luthor: Drop of Doom before dawn allowed us to go above the fog, with only clouds and mountains on the landscape. "Priceless", some may say, although of course there were only 10 to 15 seconds of admiration just before everything went straight to ... you know that better than me.
A mediodía se realizó la ceremonia de apertura y la primera oportunidad "oficial" de sincronizar Lex Luthor Drop of Doom con Superman: Escape from Krypton. Sé que será difícil que se repita esa estampa surreal de efectivamente subir más allá de las nubes... pero les comunico que sí habrá una sensación divertida y terrorífica esperando a quienes en el punto más alto de la torre sean "alcanzados" por los vehículos de Superman: Escape from Krypton, solo espero que estén acostumbrados a los terremotos, porque es lo mínimo en que pensarán al sentir que la imponente estructura oscila por la fuerza del propio "Superman". Definitivamente no hay lugar para los débiles ni los cardiacos. Están avisados. Y para aquellos intrépidos que visiten Magic Mountain en el futuro próximo no pierdan la oportunidad de aceptar el reto del Drop of Doom.
At noon the opening ceremony was held and it also was the first "official" opportunity to synchronize Lex Luthor: Drop of Doom with Superman: Escape from Krypton. I know that it will be difficult to recreate that surreal picture of actually ascending beyond the clouds ... but there is a fun and thrilling experience awaiting those who may reach the highest point at the same time with the Superman: Escape from Krypton vehicles. I mean, you'd better be used to earthquakes because that may be the feeling when that imposing structure sways due to the forces generated by the vehicles of the "Superman" ride. Definitely, there is no room for the weak or timid. You have been warned…. And for those intrepid visitors to Six Flags Magic Mountain in the near future: Do not miss the opportunity to accept the challenge of Lex Luthor: Drop of Doom.
